11 months ago, I remembered I was looking for the right hall to hold my reception..... like crazy! Made nearly 30 calls to halls/hotels/community halls in KL!! Memang freaked out sangat bcoz we decided to choose the wedding date during the first week of school holidays. Most of the halls/hotels' representatives said they were booked one year earlier! Alamak, seriously???! But alhamdulillah, everything was sorted out when I finally found the hall........I love the hall so much!! The kind of place I always wanted to have my wedding...Alhamdulillah sangatlah lega.. Eventhough I didn't get the date we decided earlier on, it's okay. Saya kawen lambat seminggu, takpe bersabar..Haha
After the hall issue settled, I moved on looking for the photographers & videographers. Being me, I like to do a lot of surveys....I met a few people from the industry (about 10) just to see their previous work, and most importantly to know the quotation....I considered myself lucky (and also rezeki nak kawen), I managed to book the team of photographers with their PROMO price!! As for videographers, I booked two different people. One is a newbie, and the other one has the experience producing good wedding videos with quality. I assigned the newbie for my pre-wedding n majlis khatam at home, while the other is for solemnization & reception. I can't wait to be photographed and captured in motion!!! Nak posing habis-habisan hehe :p
Next, I looked for the designer for both solemnization & reception attires. Another significant aspect of a wedding! I'm not a cerewet person when it comes to attires, but I don't mind paying extra $ if the final product is at my highest satisfaction! I went from a designer to another, entah berape orang I can't remember but I stopped searching when I met the designer whom I think I can trust. So far, I'm happy with his sketches...He incorporated my ideas as well... I penah jugak bawak once Mr. Aiz to see him, and my darling also said he is satisfied to see his sketches. Price wise pulak, tersangatlah okay...And I can even mintak kurang haha (dapat kurang RM300 tau! Best kann???)
Seterusnya, I booked make-up artist. I already had in mind who I wanted from the very beginning, so I just need to pick the cellphone and make the booking. I have 3 different make-up artists; for home ceremony, solemnization & reception. I just like to try different touches, can't wait to be dolled up hihi ;) Alhamdulillah I managed to settle those things I considered VERY VERY important for my big day! Waktu tu, saya sangatlah relieved. Everything was successfully booked within Dec 10 & January 11....
